We were extremely pleased with the day spent seeing Rome in the company of Roberto who was friendly, extremely knowledgeable and reliable and the mini-van suited us fine, as I have problem with one of knees which has only limited movement. He arrived at the hotel before the appointed time, took us on a tour of Rome in the morning seeing all the places promised and giving us sufficient time to visitor to take photographs . After the lunch break he took us to the Vatican, again showing some different parts of Rome on the way, and picked us up at the meeting place on time. He even showed us something not on most tours, a pyramid built in the walls of Rome on our way back to the hotel.

We would thoroughly recommend your service, it fully meet your advertised offer. Thank you too for your advice of pre-booking the Colosseum and the Vatican Museum, that saved us a lot of time at both places.

The drivers for both tours were very nice, friendly and knowledgeable. The private tour guide for the Vatican was great also. I want to say thank you to Giovanni for arranging my train tickets to Naples. He really made it easy for us. My younger son says that the drive down the Amalfi coast was the best part of Italy! Our friends, Dr. and Mrs. Pierson, and my husband and I had a wonderful tour of the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii on Sunday, May 23, arranged with your company. Giuseppe was our driver and he was marvelous. He timed our day perfectly and we got to see everything we had planned. The day was not rushed or hectic even though we did a great deal. Our most favorite part was the lunch he arranged for us at Trattoria La Tagliata in Positano. The food and view were magnificent. Giuseppe was so charming and informative and a great driver on the area's windy and narrow roads. We would highly recommend him and your company again.

My husband and I were on a Mediterranean Cruise in June 2010 and I struggled with what shore excursions to participate in, for this was my first trip to Italy and I stumbled upon Benvenuto's website. I emailed them and received a quick response with detailed information. Needless to say, when we walked off that cruise ship and saw our driver standing there in front of a Mercedes Benz holding a sign with our name on it, we were already impressed.
Giuseppe showed us the Amalfi Coast, Positano and Sorrento and left us speechless. This is the perfect way to see Italy!
We also used Benvenuto for our full day excursion in Florence and Pisa and it was hard to be impressed with any other tour after these two.

I wanted to thank you in writing for the excellent tours you provided us on our trip to Rome. April 27th, Tino rescued our trip to Rome! He arrived promptly at the scheduled time in a spotless Mercedes at our hotel and proceeded to take us to many of the historic ruins, churches and other sites in the city. He also interpreted each place in great depth and in perfect English, of course. We had a most enjoyable day with Tino.
We also took advantage of your services to tour the Vatican museum after attending the pope's general audience in St. Peter's square on April 28, as well. Serena also met us promptly at the designated location and immediately took charge of our tour through the museum, the museum shops the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's. We were very impressed by the depth of her knowledge of seemingly every aspect of the history, art and architecture of the Vatican, including the sources of the various sculptures, tapestries, paintings and even building materials. While very respectful of the traditions of the Catholic Church with respect to the behavior of people touring the museum and St. Peter's, she was very effective in moving us through the crowd and directing our attention to make sure that we saw everything and understood its significance, as well. We could not have enjoyed the tour more or packed more into the time available for our visit!

Please thank Tino and Serena for us, again, for salvaging our trip to Rome!

I have recommended Benvenuto tours to others who may be planning visits to Italy. For some, it may seem that the tours are a bit expensive, but your tours are a real value. I can tell you that it is the best money that we spent on the entire trip.

We had an excellent experience with your company and our driver (I can't remember his name anymore!). He was so kind, knowledgeable, friendly, and obviously loves Italy and his town on the Amalfi Coast. If we are in Italy again, we would certainly use your company and would recommend it to any of our friends.

Interestingly, we were meeting up with a large group in Positano and the majority of the group rented a small bus to take them from Rome to Positano. We decided to take the train to Naples, then your driver took us, via Pompeii, to Positano. Not only was our trip less expensive, it was much more comfortable - especially on those small, winding roads! All of our friends wished they had done the same thing, and I think some of them booked with your company to get back to the Naples airport.

I wanted to follow up and tell you what a nice time we had last week in Florence/Pisa with Massimo and in Rome with Constantino. Both men were very professional and represented your company well. I would be happy to recommend your company to anyone, and actually have already done so to several people.
Massimo was pleasant and conversational. We learned a lot about him and life in Florence. We feel we saw the city in an enjoyable way. He told me your business was family owned and family managed, which is very nice to know.
Both men took us to great little places to eat lunch and it was clear that they each had a connection there, which made us feel at home.

We recently returned from a Mediterranean cruise where we had booked a tour of Florence and an Amalfi drive tour with your company. I just wanted to let you know how pleased we were with the service we received from Max in Florence, and Franco in Amalfi. They couldn't have been more professional or knowledgeable. Our only regret was not booking more tours with you instead of the cruise company. We especially appreciate your putting the Amalfi tour together for us at the last minute after the cruise company canceled their tour. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed the drive along the coast as well as the towns of Positiano and Ravello.
We would definitely recommend you to anyone going to Italy and if we are fortunate to go again you will definitely hear from us.
Thank you again for providing us with two great days and with two great drivers. Even though they are employed by your company they did make us feel special and were so accommodating to our needs. Max even took us back to Pisa in the afternoon to get pictures of the Leaning Tower in the sun as it had been storming and windy when we had been there in the morning. Our pictures turned out great and are quite a contrast between the rain and the sun.

We just returned from Italy on Sunday, and I want to thank you for the two excursions we had with your company. They were certainly some of the highlights of our entire trip.
Roma: We landed in Roma on time on the 16th of April precisely at 8:30; however it took forever to collect our luggage which we didn’t actually get until 10:10. I was worried that the driver would not still be there, but as soon as we exited, there he was. Evano was exceptional; courteous, friendly and full of information about Roma and the sights along our way to the Termini. Even with the delay at the airport, he still got us to the station in plenty of time to catch our 12:00 train. Once we reached the Termini, he talked to the Polizia and parked very close where he could actually escort us into the station for a minute and get us pointed in the right direction.
Napoli: Precisely on time, Franco, our driver for the day, met us in the Piazzetta del Nilo. I was surprised he even found the location, it took our cab driver the day before a half hour to travel the 2 km from Napoli Centrale. Franco was dressed casually as we had requested and we began our journey to Torella dei Lombardi. His English was better than my Italian, and he was also personable, enjoyable to converse with and very knowledgeable on history and the significance of sights along the way. During the short visit to Torella and the ensuing tour of the Amalfi coast, he did everything possible to ensure we saw everything at a very leisurely, but efficient, pace. He found us a wonderful restaurant in Ravello, and dined with us as I had requested. This day was very important to me to show my wife the birthplace of my Father, and the cemetery where my grandparents, aunts, and uncle was buried. Franco made it all possible; he is very professional.
Again, thank you very much for the services, and I will recommend your company to anyone who visits Italy and has need of professional transportation.

This was the third year my husband and I used Benvenuto Services. Giovanni's tours were the highlight of our trip.
